1986 Suzuki Samurai JX Deluxe

Auto Brokers of Jackson is excited to offer this totally rust free 1986 Suzuki Samurai JX 4x4. I discovered this vehicle north of Phoenix, Arizona where Becky and her husband had rescued it from storage for the last 15 years in the hot, dry, Arizona desert. They had just changed all the fluids, and timing belt and the little “Sami” ran great but as can be expected after 15 years needed a complete service and sympathetic restoration. This Samurai is completely dry and rust free which I know is a very strong statement to make for any vehicle. That is what excited me the most as it is getting very hard to find them that way. When the Samurai arrived at our store in Driggs, Idaho the work began. We removed and cleaned the entire interior. (The photos show no rust!) We replaced the steering wheel, steering wheel column covers with factory correct ones, replaced the carpet which was burned up and dried out from desert storage, recovered and repaired the original seats, cleaned and checked all the electrics. (Everything works) Replaced the headlights and turn signal bulbs, replaced the windshield, replaced all 5 tires with new Firestone Winterforce tires, replaced the battery strap and the rear lift supports for the removable fiberglass top. The wheels were repainted as well as the bumpers. The windshield wipers were replaced. There are probably things I have forgotten to mention but we went thru everything! Then I drove it over Teton Pass (over 9000 feet elevation) to my mechanic of 20 years who went thru all the mechanics and it checked out great! Suzuki Samurai’s offer more fun per pound than almost any 4 Wheel Drive SUV and you can park them anywhere! This vehicle is not a “Trailer Queen”, but a very, very nice looking vehicle you can use every day and get thumbs up wherever you go! Drive this Samurai anywhere, Go Off Road with it, or tow it behind your motor home. It handles, shifts, and stops great! Put it in 4 Wheel Drive and go anywhere but up a tree!
