1998 JEEP CHEROKEE LIMITED 4 WHEEL DRIVE I found this fine Jeep Cherokee Limited in Carey, Idaho, a small town just east of Sun Valley, Idaho. The owner was the town’s only mechanic. He used it to drive mostly from his home in Carey, Idaho to Salt Lake City, Utah to visit family. It currently has 231626 miles and most of them are highway miles. The Jeep drives like it has 50 thousand miles. I have driven this vehicle over Teton Pass to my home in Jackson numerous times. Teton Pass is over 9000 feet. The Jeep makes great power and runs thru the snow and ice extremely well. It gets about 20 miles per gallon and if you get stuck in this car on the road, you need driving lessons! The interior and exterior of this Jeep are very clean. There is an impression on the rear gate and a few rock chips on the front, which we have touched up. The interior is like new except for some cracking in the front leather seats, which are covered with seat covers. The car runs and drives as it should. The steering is responsive. The brakes are great and all the power options work well. This is a Limited so it has power windows, cruise, air, tilt, power driver seat, tow package, roof rack and a tape player. You can shift in and out of 4 Wheel Drive on the fly. It is a great little SUV to drive! We have fully inspected this vehicle. We have replaced the tires with new Firestone Winterforce tires (great in the snow!), and done a full service including lube/oil/filter, replaced the valve cover gasket and wiper blades. Do not hesitate to fly in and drive this Jeep home! Look carefully at the photos and note not only how clean the interior and exterior is but check out the underside photos.
